Relaxed Spa Dentistry

Lynn George has been a part of Dr. Peters team for 18 of the 20 years she has spent in the dental field. She is an Expanded Functions Dental Auxiliary with x-ray certification and worked as a dental assistant for much of that time. Her love of people and great knowledge of dentistry makes her the ideal first person to greet you as you enter our office. Combining this with her expertise in scheduling and insurance makes Lynn a valuable asset to our team.

Jennifer Poracky has been a hygienist at our office for 14 years and works part time. She is a graduate of Indiana University School of Dental Hygiene and she continues to attend seminars to further her education. She is concerned that periodontal disease is a major health problem in America and she spends much time instructing her patients in managing disease. She is also a Certified Dental Assistant and has a certificate in Expanded Functions. Jennifer’s sincere dedication to the dental profession is reflected in the excellent care she has provided for her hygiene patients.

Cindy Carlile has worked in various capacities in the office for 16 years.  As our own Dental Concierge, her love of people make her a natural at greeting and making patients comfortable.  She received her Expanded Functions Dental Auxiliary Course certificate and regularly helps chairside by placing filling materials and adjusting bites. Her background as a national makeup artist gives her a rare skill in the dental office for cosmetic dentistry. She uses her skills as a photographer after taking special courses for dental photography and helps patients identify areas that could benefit from cosmetic dentistry. She works magic with bridal parties and is especially mindful to help parents of bridal party members who so appreciate her artful eye. Her after treatment photos adorn the office walls…a picture being worth a thousand words. Her one-on-one attention with patients has resulted in marvelous smile makeovers.

Jodi Carlson spent the first five years of her employment as a dental hygiene assistant.  Her certification in x-ray and knowledge of dental hygiene makes her invaluable as she compliments the hygienist's care of patients.  Her ability to provide a smooth flow of patient care in hygiene made her promotion to Patient Treatment Coordinator a natural event.  As Treatment Coordinator, Jodi helps patients understand their treatment and makes the financial arrangements that fit comfortably into the patient's budget.  She has several no interest financial plans that help patients get the dental care they need now while spreading payments out over time.  She doubles as our computer expert and you may recognize her gorgeous smile that adorns many of our advertising materials.

Kristy Swenson graduated from Indiana University South Bend as a Certified Dental Assistant that includes X-ray certification. She is also an Expanded Functions Dental Auxiliary. Kristy is our whitening specialist and is ready to share her knowledge with patients. Since May, 2005, Kristy's capable professional skills combined with her warm, caring nature make her a wonderful asset to the Relaxed Spa Dentistry staff.

Jodi Spencer has been with our office since March, 2004, having previously worked as a dental assistant for several years at a cosmetic practice.  She uses her cosmetic expertise to help patients identify how to improve their smile. She is a Certified Dental Assistant, Expanded Functions Dental Auxiliary and X-ray Certified Dental Assistant.  We love Jodi!  Her high energy and friendliness combined with her great sense of humor and vast knowledge of dentistry makes her a winner in our office.

Pam is the newest member of our dental team. She graduated from Indiana University School of Dental Hygiene and has 6 years of experience. She also has a Bachelor of Science degree in continuing education so she is always interested in educating her patients. Pam carries this concept through by also treating the whole patient with therapeutic hand dips and cold stone therapy. She believes the spa dentistry approach benefits the patient by providing a comfortable, stress-free environment for treatment.
